He is the final messenger of God and the ultimate source of Mercy for all of mankind. Forgiveness His first words after birth and his final words before he left this world beseeched God to forgive mankind.  His entire life was dedicated to changing human society everywhere for the better and within his lifetime his message spread to most of the world. Champion of social justice He was a champion of social justice and successfully campaigned against slavery and for women's rights at a time when women were treated as property and buried alive as children. He was persecuted for more than a decade by his own tribe for threatening their way of life which was dependent on exploitation. At times he was also offered vast wealth on the condition that he permitted the old injustices to continue. However despite all of this he remained firm and when he finally gained victory over his persecutors, he declared a general amnesty. Perfect Characteristics The multitudes that accepted Islam were attracted by the Beauty of both the Message and the Messenger (p.b.u.h). Even his enemies when asked about him could not deny the excellence of his character, his impeccable honesty, kindness and trustworthiness.  Even though he was the ruler of a growing and wealthy nation of Muslims, he always lived a simple life without excess. Tolerance and Love He promoted tolerance towards other faiths and taught Muslims that love and respect for all the Prophets  including Abraham, Moses and Jesus was central to Islam. We believe Muhammad (p.b.u.h) to be the Best and Noblest of all Creation and the Beloved of God Almighty. We invite you to join us in celebrating this Blessed Event. A Difficult Neighbour A lady who used to live near the Prophet (p.b.u.h) had a lot of animosity towards both the Prophet (p.b.u.h) and his message.  Every day when the Prophet used to pass under her window to go to the mosque, she would throw her rubbish on him.  One day, there was no rubbish and the Prophet (p.b.u.h) asked his Companions what had happened to the lady.  They informed him that she was unwell.  The Prophet (p.b.u.h) was sad to hear the news and went to visit her soon afterwards.  She was very surprised to see the Prophet (p.b.u.h) and asked him why he had come to visit her even though she had abused him every day.  He replied that she was his neighbour and he had a duty to offer her help whenever she needed it.
